Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage
Pick up from the Katunayake International Air Port and check in to a Hotel in Colombo.
Leave for Kandy and on the way visit the Elephant Orphanage in Pinnawela . Witness the bottle-feeding of orphaned baby Elephants and Elephants bathing and frolicking in the river after their meal.After the tour in Pinnawela visit the Herbal and Spice Garden en route to Kandy. Kandy was the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings, which is a world heritage site. The name Kandy conjures vision of splendor of magnificence. Many of the legends, traditions and folklore are still lovingly kept alive. Drive around the Kandy Lake built by the last king Sri Wickramarajasinghe in 1806; visit the Kandy town bazaar, the arts and the crafts center and a gem museum and lapidary. In the evening visit the temple of the tooth relic and other sites thereafter witness a traditional cultural dance show. Overnight stay in Kandy
After breakfast leave for botanical Gardens in Peradeniya which was established in 1821, easily one of the best of its kind in the world. The many beautiful avenues will lead one to sections, which provide a burst of tropical color.
After the Peradeniya visit leave for Nuwara Eliya visiting a Tea Factory en route.
Nuwara Eliya is the land of peace, and silence. Nuwara Eliya called the hill station by the English. This is a very picturesque location almost 1950 Meters above sea level with its soft English spring climate. The town is decorated with buildings ranging in style from Georgian to Queen Anne.In the evening stroll through the city, and drive round the city, and the Golf club.

After an early Breakfast leave for Horton Plains and Bakers Falls. Horton plains is a hauntingly desolate, windswept plateau set at an elevation of over 2000 meters from the sea level. A world apart from the rest of Sri Lanka, its plains offer excellent trekking including a circular 9 Km walk to the Worlds end, where the hill plunges dramatically for near 1000 m offering marvelous views of to the South. A dawn start is advisable as the clouds roll in by mid morning. Herds of Sambar deer, beautiful lizards and many endemic bird species enhance the Horton Plains experience and there is always the hope of a glimpse of a leopard.
Return to Nuwara Eliya. Leave for Yala after lunch visiting Ravana Falls en route.
After breakfast go on a safari in the Yala National Park This is the most popular Wild life sanctuary where one gets to see the large herds of Elephants, Spotted deer, Sambur, Barking deer, Monkey, Wild Boer, wild buffalo. Sloth bear, and wide varieties of bird species endemic and migratory. Witness the majestic Peacock performing its mating dance with its colorful plumes spread. Leave for Galle after the park tour and Stay Overnight in Galle.
After Breakfast Visit the historic Galle fort is a world heritage site. Wander through the old buildings of the fort with a history dating back to 1587 when the Portuguese took Galle from the Singhalese kings. Leave for Colombo along the coastal; belt to Wadduwa. Visit a Turtle Hatchery en route. Overnight stay in a Star Class Beach resort in Wadduwa.
