Day 1

Arrival from the airport and transfer to a Hotel in Colombo/ Mt Lavinia.

Day 2

Leave for Pinnawela Elephant Orphanage in time to witness the bottle-feeding of orphaned baby Elephants and Elephants bathing and frolicking in the river after their meal. Proceed to Sigiriya for the night, visit Dambulla on the way. Ride on an Elephant Ride in the jungles in Habarana(optional).

Day 3

Climb Sigiriya rock fortress in the Morning. Sigiriya was declared a world heritage site by the UNESCO built by the king Kassapa in the 5^th Century BC. Renowned historians consider Sigiriya the 8th Wonder of the World. Marvel the world famous Sigiriya frescoes, water ponds built on top of the rock.

In the Afternoon visit   the mediaeval capital  Polonnaruwa. (11^th century &12 century) . Polonnaruwa was the Capital after the fall of Anuradhapura.  See the ruins of once a beautiful city fortified with three concentric walls, parks, Gardens, and many shrines.

Stay overnight in Sigiriya

Day 4

Leave for Kandy visit spice garden en route. Kandy is the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings, which is a world heritage site. Drive around the Kandy Lake built by the last king Sri Wickramarajasinghe in 1806; visit the Kandy town bazaar, the arts and the crafts center and a gem museum and lapidary. In the evening visit the temple of the tooth relic thereafter witness a traditional cultural dance show. Stay overnight in Kandy

Day 5

Visit the botanical gardens in Peradeniya which was established in 1821, easily one of the best of its kind in the world. Proceed to N’ Eliya. Visit a Tea Factory en route.In the evening city tour and leisurely stroll through the city.Dinner and overnight stay in N’ Eliya.

Day 6

Leave for Yala via Ella Bandarawela visiting Ravana Falls and Sita Amman Kovil.

Yala National Park is the most popular Wild life sanctuary among the visitors who come to the country. See the large herds of Elephants, Spotted deer, Sambur, Barking deer, Monkey, wild boar, wild buffalo, sloth bear, and wide varieties of bird species endemic and migratory. Witness the majestic Peacock performing its mating dance with the colorful plumes spread.

Dinner and overnight stay in Yala.

Day 7

Yala National Park Tour. Leave for Unawatuna a destination continues to be a favorite beach who look for sea, sun and sand . Overnight stay in Unawatuna.

Day 8

Visit Galle fort which is a World Heritage Site with a history dating back to 1587 when the Portuguese took Galle from the Singhalese kings. Proceed to Bentota/ Beruwela ,  night stay in Beruwela/ Bentota

Bentota and Beruwela boast of wide picturesque beaches and are favorites among the tourist who visit Sri Lanka.
