Day 1

Meet at the Airport and check in to a Hotel in Colombo.

Day 2

Leave for Sigiriya. Visit the Elephant Orphanage in Pinnawela on the Way. Witness the bottle-feeding of orphaned baby Elephants and Elephants bathing and frolicking in the river after their meal. Go on a safari to the Minneriya National Park in the Afternoon. Stay Overnight in Sigiriya

Day 3

After Breakfast in the Morning Climb the Sigiriya Rock fortress. The King Kassapa built the Sigiriya Rock fortress in 5th century AD also known as the Lion rock the kings palace was on top of the rock with water ponds etc. Marvel the world famous frescoes on the wall depicting goddesses from heaven.
In the Afternoon drive through the cultural sites in Polonnaruwa.

Day 4

Leave for Kandy after breakfast. Kandy was the capital of the Last kingdom of Singhalese Kings, Undoubtedly the most beautiful city in the Island.
Drive around the Kandy Lake built by the last king Sri Wickramarajasinghe in 1806; visit the Kandy town bazaar, the arts and the crafts center, a gem museum, lapidary, There after witness a traditional cultural dance show in the late afternoon. Overnight stay in Kandy.

Day 5

Visit the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens and Leave for Nuwara Eliya. Visit a Tea Factory on the Way. Dinner and overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya.
Nuwara Eliya is the land of peace, and silence. The English called Nuwara Eliya the hill station. This is a very picturesque location almost1950 Meters above sea level with its soft cool English spring climate. You can still witness the reminiscence of the British colonial era.

Day 6

Leave for Horton Plains and Bakers Falls return to Nuwara Eliya in the Afternoon. In the Evening stroll in the city at leisure.
Horton plains are a hauntingly desolate, windswept plateau set at an elevation of over 2000 meters from the sea level. A world apart from rest of Sri Lanka the plains offer excellent trekking including a circular 9 Km walk to the Worlds end, where the hill plunges dramatically for near 1000 m offering marvelous views of to the South. A dawn start is advisable as the clouds roll in by mid morning. Herds of Sambar deer, beautiful lizards and many endemic bird species enhance the Horton Plains experience.

Day 7

Leave for the Sinharaja rain forest. Visit Ravana falls and other sites on the way. Overnight stay in Sinharaja forest.

Day 8

Trek in the Sinharaja rain forest reserve, which is declared as a world Heritage nature reserve by the UNESCO. Witness the variety of indigenous plants and animals, Flowing Rivers covering an expanse of 9800 hectares of forest. In the afternoon leave for Galle for the night.

Day 9

After the breakfast visit the historic Galle fort which is a world heritage site. The famous Arab Navigator Ibn Batuta landed in the Galle port and Galle became famous with the Spice traders from Arab. Wander through the old buildings of the fort with a history dating back to 1587 when the Portuguese took Galle from the Singhalese kings. Leave for Wadduwa visiting a turtle hatchery on the way.

Relax in the Beach Resort in Wadduwa.

Day 12

Leave for the Airport for Departure.
