Day 1
Pick up from the airport leave to a hotel in Colombo.
Day 2
Leave for Pinnawala Elephant orphanage. Witness the feeding of orphaned baby elephants, elephants bathing and frolicking in the river after their meal. Leave for Sigiriya visiting the Spice garden and Dambulla cave temples on the way. Stay overnight in Sigiriya. Dambulla rock caves history dates back to the 1st century BC, where King Walagambahu took refuge here once and later he turned the caves into a temple. In Dambulla cave temple some of the ceiling paintings are over 2000 years old.
Day 3
After breakfast climb Sigiriya Rock fortress which King Kassapa built during the 5th century AD. It is also known as the Lion rock the king’s palace was on top of the rock with water ponds etc. Marvel the world famous frescoes on the wall depicting goddesses from heaven.
After lunch in the afternoon tour the mediaeval capital of Polonnaruwa. (11th century &12 century) Polonnaruwa was the Capital after fall of Anuradhapura. See the ruins of once a beautiful city once fortified with three concentric walls, parks, Gardens, and many shrines.

Day 4
After breakfast leave for Kandy the capital of the last kingdom of Singhalese Kings, undoubtedly the most beautiful city in the Island. In Kandy go on a city tour visit the Gem Museum. The Temple of Tooth relic is where the sacred tooth relic of Buddha is enshrined. Visit the Palace of the last King of Kandian king. In the evening witness a cultural Show. Dinner and night stay in Kandy
Day 5
Leave for Colombo visit the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens and a Tea Factory en route Peradeniya botanical garden established in 1821 is easily one of the best of its kind in the world. Dinner and night stay in Wadduwa
Day 6
Leave for Galle Tour Galle fort Mulkirigala Temple. Stay Overnight in Galle / Unawatuna. Galle fort is a world heritage site. Wander through the old buildings of the fort with a history dating back to 1587 when the Portuguese took Galle from the Singhalese kings.
Day 7
Leave for Wadduwa along the coastal belt visit a turtle hatchery on the way. Stay overnight in Wadduwa.
Day 8
Spend the day relaxing on the Beach in a Beach resort in Wadduwa
Day 9
Leave for the Airport in time for the Departure.
