Day 1
Meet at the Airport on arrival and check in to a Hotel in Colombo.
Day 2
Leave for Pinnawela Elephant orphanage in time to witness the feeding of baby elephants and elephants bathing and frolicking in the river. Leave for Sigiriya/ Habarana. On the way visit Dambulla Rock cave temples dating back to 1st century BC . Marvel the beautiful ceiling paintings which is over 2000 years old.
Day 3
Morning climb the Sigiriya Rock fortress. Sigiriya was declared a world heritage site by the UNESCO built by the king Kassapa in the 5th Century BC. Renowned historians consider Sigiriya the 8th Wonder of the World. Marvel the world famous Sigiriya frescoes, water ponds built on top of the rock.
Late afternoon go on a Safari in Minneriya National Park witness many herds of wild elephants coming to the Minneriya Tank to quench their thirst and to dip in the cool waters of the Minneriya tank prior to retiring for the day. Stay overnight in Sigiriya/ Habarana.
Day 4
Morning Tour the Medieval Capital Polonnaruwa city. (11th century &12 century) See the ruins of once a beautiful city fortified with three concentric walls, parks, gardens, and many shrines Polonnaruwa was the Capital after the fall of Anuradhapura. Go on an elephant ride in the afternoon ( Optional). Stay overnight in Sigiriya/ Habarana.
Day 5
Leave for Kandy Visit a Spice Garden in Matale on the way. . Kandy is the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings, which is a world heritage site. The name Kandy conjures vision of splendor of magnificence. Many of the legends, traditions and folklore are still lovingly kept alive. Visit the Temple of tooth relic, Gem Museum and witness a cultural show in the late afternoon. Stay overnight in Kandy
Day 6
Morning visit Peradeniya Botanical Gardens. Peradeniya botanical garden established in 1821 by Mr. Alexander Moon is easily one of the best of its kind in the world.
Leave for Nuwara Eliya
Nuwara Eliya called the hill station by the English. during the colonial era. This is a very picturesque location almost1950 Meters above sea level with its soft English spring climate. The town is decorated with buildings ranging in style from Georgian to Queen Anne. Parks, trout streams, 18 hole golf course,

Day 7
After breakfast visit the Horton Plains and the Bakers Fall Horton plains is a hauntingly desolate, windswept plateau set at an elevation of over 2000 meters from the sea level. A world apart from rest of Sri Lanka the plains offer excellent trekking including a circular 9 Km walk to the Worlds end, where the hill plunges dramatically for near 1000 m offering marvelous views of to the South. Sinharaja is a home to a large variety of indigenous plants and animals, flowing rivers and silent streamlets and the extent cover up nearly 11000 hectares. Stay overnight in Sinharaja forest reserve
