Day 2
Leave for Anuradhapura and tour Anuradhapura the first capital of Sri Lanka founded in 5th century BC and is considered as the cradle of Sri Lanka’s civilization Anuradhapura has the words largest archeological sites. Stay Overnight in Anuradhapura
Day 3
Morning tour the Medieval Capital Polonnaruwa city (11th century &12 century). See the ruins of once a beautiful city fortified with three concentric walls, parks, gardens, and many shrines. Polonnaruwa was the Capital after the fall of Anuradhapura. Go on a safari to Minneriya National Park in the late afternoon. Stay overnight in Sigiriya/ Habarana.
Day 4
Morning climb the Sigiriya Rock fortress. Sigiriya was declared a world heritage site by the UNESCO built by the king Kassapa in the 5th Century BC. Renowned historians consider Sigiriya the 8th Wonder of the World. Marvel the world famous Sigiriya frescoes, water ponds built on top of the rock.Leave for Kandy after lunch visit a spice garden on the way, and go on a city tour drive around the Kandy Lake built by the last king Sri Wickramarajasinghe in 1806.Evening visit the Temple of Tooth Relic the most venerated place for Buddhist all over the world to see the offerings made by the devotees

Leisurely visit the Kandy town bazaar, the arts and the crafts center and a gem museum and lapidary, thereafter witness a traditional cultural dance show in the late afternoon

Day 6
Morning Visit Peradeniya Botanical Gardens. Peradeniya botanical garden established in 1821 by Mr. Alexander Moon is easily one of the best of its kind in the world. Leave for Nuwara Eliya called the hill station by the English during the colonial era. This is a very picturesque location almost1950 Meters above sea level with its soft English spring climate. The town is decorated with buildings ranging in style from Georgian to Queen Anne. Parks, trout streams, 18 hole golf course.
Day 7
After breakfast visit the Horton Plains and the Bakers Fall Horton plains is a hauntingly desolate, windswept plateau set at an elevation of over 2000 meters from the sea level. A world apart from rest of Sri Lanka the plains offer excellent trekking including a circular 9 Km walk to the Worlds end, where the hill plunges dramatically for near 1000 m offering marvelous views of to the South.

Leave for Ratnapura Kalawana Sinharaja forest edge.
Trek in Sinharaja Forrest, a world heritage nature site. This is the most beautiful and the biggest rain forest situated close to Ratnapura and is between the villages of Rakwana , Deniyaya, and Mathugama. Sinharaja is a home to a large variety of indigenous plants and animals, flowing rivers and silent streamlets and the extent cover up nearly 11000 hectares. Witness the majestic Peacock performing its mating dance with the colorful plumes spread.

Leave for Galle Visit the historic Galle fort which is a world heritage site. The famous Arab Navigator Ibn Batuta landed in the Galle port and Galle became famous with the Spice traders fro Arab. Wander through the old buildings of the fort with a history dating back to 1587 when the Portuguese took Galle from the Singhalese kings. Galle fort was last made for admistrative fort by the British.
